That's rights kids, it's Earth Hour. Time to turn off your lights for one measly hour to show some solidarity for the nice folks at the World Wildlife Fund. Individuals, businesses, governments, and organizations around the world will be turning off their lights for one hour – Earth Hour – to make a global statement of concern about climate change and to demonstrate commitment to finding solutions.
Now how easy is that?
I know clever Dentonistas, Dentonistos, and all other readers can figure out some way to spend an hour in the dark...
Maybe Trivial Pursuit by candle light?

What's all this about?
The Best of Denton is about combining my love of writing to friends, and my love of my adopted home town – Denton, Texas.
If your only knowledge of my awesome little city is from the New York Times, bombing in and out to visit a buddy in school, or, God forbid, the view from I-35, you might not know what’s so great about living here, or what’s great to DO here.
So, I hope to share my favorite bits of Denton: food; shopping; sites & sights; fun; every day and special occasions; with long-time residents, newbies, and potential visitors. (Feel free to share your comments, recommendations, and favorites too!) Maybe after I run out of Denton-liciousness (city AND county!), I’ll take on other favorite things, or maybe I’ll throw in a few field trips.
After all, one of the great things about Denton is its central location… We’ll see.
